This type of functional embroidery makes the repaired piece stronger, warmer, and - we think - more interesting. We carry an assortment of Japanese-made mending supplies. Suitable for those with minimal sewing experience.

sashiko threads : 100% cotton, 20-meter skeins
sashiko needles : large eyes make them easy to thread; available in packs of two needles (2” and 2 1/2” length)) or four needles (1 5/8”, 2”, 2 1/8”, and 2 1/2” length)
sashiko leather thimble : protect your fingers while sewing multiple layers of fabric
embroidery needles : an assortment of needles (48mm, 42mm, 36mm), made in Japan
